Fourteen (14) days of annual leave • *subjected to terms and conditions • Identify a suitable supervisor in USM, whose field of study aligns with yours. • You can explore our Expert Database (https://experts.usm.my/) to identify a suitable supervisor. • Contact the identified supervisor for further discussion and to ascertain if they meet all the criteria established by the University for serving as a FPD supervisor. • Eligibility Criteria (or Who can Apply?) • Demonstrated strong interest in research, a curiosity for learning, and exhibit exceptional academic excellence Outstanding research output in the last three (3) years, with specific publication requirements: • Science and Technology (S T) Candidates • Two (2) publications in journals indexed in the ISI Web of Science (Q1/Q2 in the Journal Citation Report (JCR) only) with one (1) of the publications as the First Author • One (1) Patent. • OR • Social Science and Other Non-S T Candidates • Two (2) publications in journals indexed by Scopus (Q1/Q2 in SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) or (JCR) with one (1) of the publications as the First Author.
