We stayed in Hattaban Village in Barsey Retreat. We have shown parts of the homestay in last video and also covered the beautiful sunrise from the homestay in this video. • Today we visited the Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary from Barsey Retreat Homestay at Hattaban. The trek is 5 km long starts from Hilley. Hilley is 18 kms from Hattaban takes around 40mins from the homestay. The homestay hosts arranged a vehicle for us for drop and pickup from Hilley. • After having a slumtous breakfast we headed for Hilley. The weather is clear today and landscapes of the valleys and Himalayas are spectacular. We could see queue of Buddhist Preachings in flags waving high with the winds all installed on the valley sides along the serpentine roads. • We reached Hilley and started the trek with some nominal entry fee paid at the entry gates. • The trail is enchanting accross the dense rhododendron forest. Birds are chirping with the peeping sunrays in the lush green foliage making the trail a dreamlike experience altogether.
