ABOUT THE ARTWORK: • The background is done in Watercolor and the foreground is done with Pen and Color Pencil. • I know the wolf is wearing a gray shirt in the cartoon but I wanted to balance the picture, color-wise so I made his shirt a dark blue. Music-wise, I wanted to have audio SOLEY from the cartoon it was based from, but I couldn't find enough sections from the cartoon to splice the music seamlessly... So I added Saloon Piano ( Sounds Like Noise , YouTube Channel) because it sounded the most similar to the piano that is playing in the cartoon. • ABOUT THE VIDEO: • I don't normally do other people's artwork or characters but, being a Tex Avery fan since I was a child, I wanted to do this project as a tribute to him, as his cartoons (along with a few others in that era) were the reasons I started drawing in the first place. I grew up mostly watching the cartoons he directed for Looney Tunes shorts, but later on, watched the cartoons he directed with MGM. Aside from the cartoons, one of the videos I saw when I was a kid that was so inspiring was Portrait of Tex Avery . Needless to say, his work had a great influence on my humor and art style growing up and this piece is dedicated to other fellow fans of him. • ...
