A beautiful walk, not physically demanding, but which reserves the experience of short aided passages that require sure-footedness and absence of dizziness. • Along the way it is easy to come across chamois intent on grazing the grass (always bring binoculars). • Ring excursion starting from Passo Tre Croci (1805 m) and arriving at Lago del Sorapiss (1923 m) passing through the Forcella Marcuoira (2307). On the way you pass through magnificent woods and steep rocky ridges, constantly surrounded by a superb panorama of the Dolomites. • It is not recommended for those suffering from vertigo and those unfamiliar with the exposed trails. • ITINERARY • From Passo Tre Croci (1805 m) first take path 213 indicating the Rifugio Tondi, leaving Monte Cristallo behind and then the 216 towards Forcella Marcuoira. Climb up to an altitude of 2307 m and then descend to path 215 which leads to Lake Sorapiss (1925 m) - 2:50 am. • Return • From the Alfonso Rifugio Vandelli (1926 m), very close to the lake, take path 215 again. The path is exposed and equipped in some parts.
