If your going to Savannah, and you don't mind the fees for a little extra amenities then I really recommend this place. The office and pool area are very beautiful. The pool is also heated (slightly) we swam in March and it was pretty cold but tolerable. • This was the third stop on a trip to south Georgia... Check out these other stops that were all within a few hours... some really great places! • The first camping destination on the trip was Stone Mountain Georgia - • Stone Mountain Campground (Atlanta, GA) • The second camping spot on the trip was Crooked River Campground in St. Marys, GA. We will definitely be going back when we have some more time to spend there!
