Red clover is one of the plants that herbalist Lori Snyder introduced me to this year when I was helping put together her medicinal edible plants of the Pacific Northwest online course. I am used to picking pineapple weed whenever I find it in Vancouver in a setting that isn't likely to have a lot of pollution/dog pee involved:) You'd think that would be easier to find, but it isn't because it likes to grow in hardpacked gravel paths and in the cracks of pavement... sigh. I even tried to transplant it into my backyard but so far I've been unsuccessful. It's so fruity and tasty that I make a morning tea of it. This week, I found some red clover too which is one of Lori's most used medicinal plants for balancing hormones. The combination was so relaxing, fruity and fresh, I highly recommend it. The key is to make sure you are 100% sure of your ID of the plants though, since there are many different clovers out there (Trifolium spp.) • Check out Lori's course if you want to learn more at...https://www.swallowtail.ca/tours/mush...
