Summer Hat School is so on this year with this cute wide brim sun hat for kids. Made using common and easy to source quilting weight fabric and interfacing that adds to the sun protection factor. There is a free pattern set for the size Medium hat that includes the brim for the bucket hat as well. Suggested age for size medium is 2 - 4 years. Download includes instructions about measuring the child's head to determine their hat size. • There is also a full pattern package for a nominal fee to cover digitizing costs, containing four head sizes, the wide brim and bucket brim and separated into separate files for each size so there is little wasted paper as you can print the size you need and save the other sizes for later use. The pattern package also includes an instruction booklet for both the bucket brim (linking back to the video) and this wider brim. The full pattern instruction booklet also covers the way to add a bow to the band during sewing.
