What's been really frustrating about buying SQ12 cameras for the past year is there are a lot of counterfeit and/or fake SQ12 cameras hitting the market. In this video, I go over two easy to spot physical differences between a genuine or original SQ12 camera versus a fake or counterfeit SQ12 camera. • The genuine camera has a black color camera lens and usually weighs 17-20 grams. It features HD 1080p widescreen video, super wide 155 degree camera lens, has a high quality feel and operation. • The fake SQ12 camera has a flat red ish type color camera lens, and weighs usually around 14 grams. It is standard definition and not wide angle lens. The audio and video quality is NOT GOOD. Much of the time, the camera does not properly charge using the included USB charging cable and the battery life is horrible. • My hopes in making this video is to allow people that purchase this camera to easily spot the fakes versus the real SQ12. If you receive this camera, I highly recommend you contact the seller and bring it to their attention. Send the item back and get a refund.
