Hi guys, • Here is a quick beginner's guide to styling edges. You’ve watched my videos enough to know that I seldom leave the house without laying my edges, it’s so embedded in my routine now. • I’ve been getting a lot of questions about edges, so I thought I would jump start by sharing how I go about moisturising and styling my edges aka laying my edges/baby hair. • As you can see, my edges are still a work in progress, but I make it do what it do. • I’ll follow up with a top tips to grow your edges video after this one so most def look out for that one. • I used the Eco Styler Black Castor Flaxseed Oil Gel as my edge control in this video. A review is pending on this, its too Lush! • http://amzn.to/2n2pGyw • • Power tip of the week ✍🏾 • It’s easier to mix the essentials oils, in this case peppermint oil with the castor oil in one small bottle and apply instead of doing it one at a time. It was more convenient for me to do it this way at the time. Also setting the edges with a scarf or bandana ensures that the baby hairs dry in place and lay just how you need them to. • • Benefits of moisturising with Peppermint oil Jamaican Black Castor Oil: - • Peppermint Oil contains a host of minerals and nutrients including, calcium, copper, folate, iron, potassium, magnesium, and manganese. It has omega-3, vitamins A, and C. It stimulates hair growth because of the increase blood circulation to the scalp and why it works so well when applied and used as an oil massage on the hairline. • Jamaican Black Castor Oil is extremely rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids that are important for healthy hair growth.
