This video shows the three major stages of fetal development that occur during the nine months of pregnancy. The first is the germinal stage, which starts with the fertilization of the egg and ends around two weeks after conception. The next stage is the embryonic stage, which occurs between weeks 3-8 and is when organs and limbs become apparent. Last is the fetal stage.
