Seymour Duncan HOT RAILS Tele Neck pickup Clean tones

Who wants to hear how the Hot Rails pickups handle clean tones??? • I was searching for the closest thing to a humbucker in a Telecaster Neck pickup size, and options were very limited - so I picked up the infamous Seymour Duncan STHR-1N aka Hot Rails Tele Neck! • As there are hundreds of videos of people shredding/playing metal with the Hot Rails, I had some trouble finding any videos with clean tones of any of the Hot Rails versions! I wanted to make this video to hopefully help someone searching like I was, and show the versatility of these pickups. They CAN do clean tones! Of course, amp settings matter.. but the tone of these pickups actually sound quite nice when you learn to deal with the insanely high output! • I compared these to the previous pickup - a Dimarzio Area T Neck pickup - and did some comparison clips in this video.
