[Complex] How to fold my origami portrait of my Indian friend, Dr. Manashita Borah, who to me is an inspirational superstar scientist! She is an electrical engineering professor at Tezpur University in India and she is a Fulbright fellow who was conducting research at UC Berkeley developing technology that she discovered that can ultimately make more efficient rechargeable car batteries. The title of her 1-year Fulbright research project was: Smart Storage for Green Energy Infrastructure: A Physics-Informed Machine Learning Integrated Fractional Order Dynamical Framework. In other words, she's VERY smart! 😄 • I personally know her from salsa dancing while she was living in Berkeley during her 1-year Fulbright fellowship, and we became good friends. I first started trying to make her portrait near the end of August 2023. Since then, over dozens of tries, I've refined and somewhat guidelined the folding sequence, but I admit, it still doesn't look very much like her. However, if you just think of it as an origami Indian face, well then I think I did a pretty good job, especially considering it's from one square of paper with color-changed hair, eyes, mouth and dot.
