By the time they returned nearly seven weeks later, the crew of 14 had carried out one of the most famous clandestine raids in Australian history. • Much has been written about this raid - codenamed Operation Jaywick and its follow up called Operation Rimau. There was even a mini-series shown around the World in 1989. Much of the information shared about these Singapore raids is either exaggerated or plain wrong.
