It can only improve so much to low-quality parts of the videos or where there is a lot of film grain, it also can not perfectly remove film grain. • About RIFE * • The RIFE (Real-Time Intermediate Flow Estimation) model generates new in-between frames by comparing the previous and next frames to create the estimated flow of movement, it can generate very smooth and very clear frames. It fails and creates very large artefacts on aggressive fade to black or lighting changes such as flashes, it cannot detect scene changes very well ( perfectly ), and also fails on fast-moving patterns where a pattern moves to a point where it matches or is closest to the 'next' frame. • Encoding Info * • The video was re-encoded and compressed as few times as possible until the final encode to provide the best result.
