Total War: SHOGUN 2 1vs1: Medium Bune vs Sengoku Bune (Boarding Action) • Clan: Takeda vs Oda • Battle Difficulty: normal • Medium Bune: Battle Speed Warcry used • Medium Bune are early medium ships. Boasting large crews, which consist of a balanced mix of archers and melee infantry, medium bunes are ideal for boarding smaller ships. They have the most crew of all early game ships. Medium bunes are outclassed in terms of offensive power by more advanced ships, such as Heavy Bunes, but they retain usefulness in the late game thanks to their warcry ability lowering nearby enemy ships' morale. Mori Medium Bune have +1 morale and 10 more swordsmen per ship. • Sengoku Bune are very fast, particularly if they sail with the wind. This makes them ideal for chasing down routing or weak ships. On the other hand, they have a very scant number of archers on board and so the ranged damage they do is negligible. Their boarding crew, while fairly large, is about on par with later game ships, so they function best when working with other ships that deal some damage before boarding action.
