During the offensive on Pervomaiske aka “Pervo”, the Chosen Company sustained massive casualties making the Russians believe that they had obliterated the entire company. To the surprise of the Russians, not only were they not dead, but carried out a daring offensive just a few days later. This operation, known as Shovel, became one of Chosen Company’s signature performances.
