In this video we'll be replacing the sway bar end links on a Lexus LS430 complete with sway bar link removal and sway bar link install. While sway bar end links look different on each car, the process to change them is pretty much the same. In fact, it's actually a little more challenging on the LS430 due to the sway bar needing to be slightly moved to remove them. • Symptoms of bad sway bar end links: • sway bar end link clunk when driving over small bumps • potential steering vagueness • Difficulty for this job is about a 5 out of 10. It's simple as long as you have access to the right tools. • Tools you'll need to replace sway bar links: • socket set (with 2 socket wrenches or proper sized wrenches) https://homedepot.sjv.io/DVWzvj (Great quality set, cheap and with lifetime warranty from Home Depot!) • Torque wrench https://homedepot.sjv.io/Ry03M9 (Best quality for the money with a lifetime warranty from home depot!) • Wheel chocks https://amzn.to/2TzxfzK • Jack and jack stands (I'd recommend low profile jacks) https://amzn.to/3z1T2jZ • Link to torque specs: https://tinyurl.com/2uznkvc7 • Hope this video is helpful! • If you need parts I recommend shopping at https://www.rockauto.com they have OEM parts and are generally the cheapest around with fast shipping!
