#nierautomata • This guide covers everything I know and have learned about the challenge known as Special Rank in NieR: Automata. It includes strategies for all three characters (A2, 2B, and 9S) and details the most optimal chips, weapons, and pod programs to use. • My previous Special Rank video has become a bit outdated (low FPS, no sound, etc.), and I wanted to show that it's not that different with the other characters. To me, Special Rank is the most interesting part of NieR: Automata. It's a challenge that seems too difficult compared to everything else but becomes easier when people share their tactics and information about it, truly showing that the weight of the world isn't that heavy when lifting it together (not my quote). Making these videos is also a fun way to practice editing. I hope it turned out well. • Some speed strategies not mentioned in this video involve utilizing the [Mirage Program]. It makes it easy to quickly deal with large groups of enemies, but it can be difficult to keep track of the current pod program equipped when you have three to remember. Since it isn't essential, I opted to leave it out.
