Showcasing the principle of cutting fresh herbs, specifically chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla/Chamomilla recutita), with sieve removed. It can be used in wide variety of applications - precutting before drying, sorting, rebling, threshing, separation, etc. It is also universal and proven in cutting mint (Mentha), sage (Salvia), lemon balm (Melissa), etc. - virtually any whole plant that is adequate in dimensions and not hard like wood or very hard roots. • • It is efficient, high-capacity cutter wth input belt conveyor width of 400 mm. The herb material is fed onto the input belt conveyor automatically via conveyor/transporter system or manually. The rotor carries two types of knives, that are made of abrassion resistant, hard steel. • • Herb cutter is optimally supplied with a VFD (variable frequency drive) to regulate the input belt speed and length of cut. It can work with and without sieve. For cutting fresh, sieve can be removed or replaced with sieve featuring larger openings. • Output can be direct like in the video, or with screw conveyor attached to the cutter.
