For more information on TITAN micropiles, go to https://www.ischebeck.de/en/product/g... • According to National Technical Approval Z-34.14-209, TITAN micropiles are suitable for slope stabilisation and soil nailing applications to DIN EN 14490. The video shows how easy it is to install micropiles: pressure-grouting plant and drilling rig are connected, the hollow steel bar acts as drilling rod. Installation is carried out using rotary percussive drilling while injecting a drilling/flushing fluid. The drilling rod is easily extended with couplers. Once the required depth has been reached, dynamic pressure grouting with a grout suspension starts. Further excavation can begin as soon as the anchors and shotcrete facing of a section have cured. Stable excavation shoring is thus built up step by step. • Examples of other applications for TITAN micropiles: • • as compression piles for foundations/underpinning, • • as tension piles for tying back retaining structures, • • in tunnelling.
