Southern 630 amp 4501 Doubleheading to Summerville May 2017

On May 20, 2017, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum operated a doubleheaded excursion to Summerville for the Southern Railway Historical Association's annual convention. Power was provided by ex-Southern Railway 2-8-0 #630 and 2-8-2 #4501, pulling a matching consist of TVRM passenger equipment. • I headed to Chattanooga this morning intending to shoot 4501 solo, and was very surprised to see 630 on point as the trip had little advertising. I called off the chase at Rock Spring as I wasn't feeling very well, but I will chase the Summerville run at least twice more this year.
