Russia carries out multiple strikes on Ukraine

Russia unleashed its largest wave of airstrikes on Ukraine in almost three months, firing 120 missiles and 90 drones across several regions. • In the capital, Kyiv, residents took shelter in the underground metro stations. The airstrikes also targeted Ukraine's power grid. • President Zelensky earlier said that Russian forces struck “an educational institution and a neighbouring hospital” with two ballistic missiles in the city of Poltava. The educational facility in question is understood to be the Poltava Military Institute of Communications. • Video from the scene showed destroyed buildings and the wounded being treated on the street.
