Select one of the voice removal options and click Apply. • • Continue watching this tutorial for more details on how to Remove Vocals from your audio file. • • Easily remove the vocals from any song with WavePad’s Remove Vocals tool. Drag and drop your audio file onto WavePad to open it for editing. Go to the Voice toolbar and click on the Voice button. From the dropdown that opens, select “Reduce Vocals”. • • The Reduce Vocals dialog will open. There are three options to remove vocals: Use WavePad AI/Machine Learning, Use WavePad Parametric Vocal Reduction, and Simple Channel Subtraction. • • We recommend starting with the WavePad AI/Machine Learning method. Start with the Medium/Balanced option in the Vocal Reduction dropdown. You can test the other Vocal Reduction options if this method does not work for your file. Click Apply to process your file with the tool. Use the Play button at the bottom of the program to listen to your file with the vocal removed. Click Undo on the Title bar or use the shortcut CTRL + Z if you want to retry removing vocals with a different selection. • • Wavepad Parametric Vocal Reduction identifies the voice in the left-to-right spectrum of a stereo recording and removes it. To use this option, the original recording must be stereo. To use this option, select the radio button next to Use WavePad Parametric Vocal Reduction. Start with the defaults and listen to the preview. Make adjustments to the pan position, pan width, preserve bass frequency, and the volume of the vocals. Continue making adjustments and listening to the Preview until you are happy with the removed vocals. While listening to the Preview, click the bypass button if you want to toggle between the original audio and the preview of the change. You can apply the effect by clicking the Apply button. • • Simple Channel Subtraction to Remove Center Audio works best if the vocals are recorded in the center of the stereo recording with instruments spatially separated. If there is not any spatial separation, you will end up with a silent file instead of just removing the vocals. To use this option, simply select the radio button next to Use Simple Chanel Subtraction to Remove Center Audio. Click the Play button to preview the audio file. If it sounds good, click Apply to apply the vocal reduction to your file. • For more WavePad tutorials, visit https://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/tutori... • Need help using WavePad? • Check the WavePad Help Manual: http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/w... • Visit the WavePad Forum: http://nch.invisionzone.com/index.php... • Or contact the WavePad Support Team: https://www.nch.com.au/support/suppor...
