Evening High Speed Action on MumbaiSurat Route Speeding Rajdhani Gang amp Rampant Superfast Trains

Relish the amazing evening high speed spectacles when I was on an evening railfanning spree at Palghar and Umroli station. It was really a homecoming feeling for me as I was visiting this section after a long gap of 6 years. Things had really changed a lot but the emotions attached to the place were the same. • I had boarded the Paschim Express from Andheri station and I got down at Dahanu Road for a short excursion where I happened to enjoy the speeding action of 12215 Bandra Garib Rath led by BRC Amul WAP-5#30046. Seeing the electric action made me miss the times when I used to see the same 120 kmph fury with an Alco ie. WDM-3A in lead. • Later on I boarded the 22954 Gujarat Express to shift my base from Dahanu Road to Palghar. The moment I reached Palghar, I was able to relish the back to back LHB actions starting with 12934 Karnavati Express and finishing with the 22950 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bandra Terminus Weekly Superfast Express. Then I again switched base from Palghar to Umroli to catch the sizzling evening showstoppers in action and while I was returning back to my base location, my local train was looped at Palghar to relish the back to back overtakes of the speeding 12010 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Shatabdi Express and 22917 Haridwar-Bandra Terminus Superfast Express. Luckily before I could return back I was able to call out a day with the only high speed diesel action of the day when the GOC WDP-4D led thundering 12431 Trivandrum Rajdhani Express completely shattered past the station area at over 110+ km/hr speed. • So just sit back and relish the non stop high speed evening action on Western Railways network.
