It was first released for PlayStation and Windows on November 17th, 1998, with a separate release for Japan in 1999. A Game Boy Color port of Abe’s Exoddus titled Oddworld Adventures II was made by Saffire and released by GT Interactive in 2000. • The game expands on the original gameplay of Abe’s Oddysee by introducing several new features, including the ability to call multiple Mudokons at once, save at any point in the game, and possess a wider selection of creatures. The story begins right after the events of Abe’s Oddysee, where Abe is welcomed back at Monsiac Lines after saving 99 Mudokons from RuptureFarms. He receives a vision from three spirits known as the Three Weirdos, who inform him that the Glukkons are mining for bones at an ancient Mudokon burial ground to produce the highly addictive SoulStorm Brew.
