Phase II reactions involve conjugation by coupling the drug or its metabolites to another molecule, such as glucuronidation, acylation, sulfate, or glicine. • Factor affecting drug metabolism :- Many factors affect the rate and pathway of metabolism of drugs, and the major influences can be sub-divided into internal (physiological and pathological) and external (exogenous) factors as indicated below: Internal: species, genetic (strain), sex, age, hormones, pregnancy, disease. External: diet, environment. • Enzyme induction :- increase the enzyme ability • enzyme inhibition :- decrease the enzyme ability • Queries :- • factors affecting drug metabolism including stereochemical aspects, • factors affecting drug metabolism medicinal chemistry, • factors affecting drug metabolism, • drug metabolism, • drug metabolism phase 1 and phase 2, • drug metabolism medicinal chemistry, • biotransformation medicinal chemistry, • drug metabolism phase 1 and phase 2 medicinal chemistry, • drug metabolism principles phase 1 and phase 2, • drug metabolism phase 1 and phase 2 medicinal chemistry in hindi, • medicinal chemistry 4th semester unit 1, • medicinal chemistry 1, • medicinal chemistry 1 unit 1, • medicinal chemistry pharmacy 4th sem, • medicinal chemistry pharmacy 4th sem unit 1, • medicinal chemistry 1 4th sem, • medicinal chemistry 4th semester unit 1 notes, • medicinal chemistry 4th semester, • medicinal chemistry pharmacy, • b.pharm 4th semester medicinal chemistry, • b.pharm 4th semester medicinal chemistry unit 1, • biotransformation of drugs, • factors affecting drug metabolism in hindi, • enzyme induction, • enzyme induction and inhibition in pharmacology, • enzyme induction pharmacology, • enzyme induction of drugs, • enzyme inhibition, • #drugmetabolism #factoraffecting • #medicinalchemistry #carewellpharma #bpharm4thsem
