The Green Weenie is a very simple, yet effective fly for a host of different fish. Especially sunfish and crappie. But bass and trout I hear hit them quite often as well. It really doesn't get any easier than this to tie a fly. If you are just starting out tying, this is the fly for you to try on. If you have been tying for a long while, well this still is a great fly to add to your boxes as it's quick and effective. It's not too complicated, however there are a couple tips I give in this video that can help make this easier and quicker to tie.
