Peaks Challenge Falls Creek is a 235km mass-participation ride organised by the Bicycle Network. Starting and finishing at Falls Creek, it sends ±2,000 riders down from the ski resort to Mount Beauty and onwards to a stunning loop around Victoria's High Country, via Tawonga Gap, Mount Hotham, Omeo, and then back up the steep road at the 'Back Of Falls' for the finish. • In a few short years, 'Peaks' has earned a strong following from cycling enthusiasts and it has always attracted a big crowd of riders... but the 2023 event had to be cancelled because of road slips near Falls Creek. • The good news for those who missed out this year is that Peaks Challenge is on again in 2024. • Find out more about the most recent edition in a write-up on ridemedia.com.au (full link below) – or a series of videos from my first experience of riding in Victoria's High Country (again, see links below). • This clip is a flashback to the 2022 Peaks Challenge Falls Creek, and a prompter to get people to sign on for the 2024 event. • The early-bird entries – offering a significant saving – are open until 26 November 2023. • – Rob • We acknowledge the Gunaikurnai and the Taungurung people, the Traditional Owners of the land on which this adventure took place.
