Alannah Myles' Black Velvet gets a jazzy makeover! Featuring Chayenne Carofiglio-de Theije on vocals and Thijs Wassink on guitar – that's right, a double feature! • What started as a simple cover idea turned into a reharmonization, keeping (most of) the original chord roots but swapping out the rest. We replaced the iconic bass line with drums and had Thijs lay down a Bond-style guitar solo to wrap it all up! • We loved the musicality these two brought to the table! • Chayenne absolutely slayed it on vocals, nailing take after take... making it an easy recording day for us. ;) • Thijs has the special ability to hear a chord and suggest 3 different vibes he can bring to the song. • All in all, it was an absolute blast to have you guys in the studio. • Let's definitely do this again soon! • #Fundament #original #cover
