If you want to hike a CHALLENGE, hike the WHOLE Santanoni Range! These three peaks, Santanoni, Panther, and Couchsachraga, will take you over bridges, rivers, many, many rocks, bogs, trail-less trails, and much more! They are apart of the 46er High Peak Challenge, of the Adirondacks, located near Newcomb, New York. Since, these peaks are trail-less, for a majority of their hike, I highly recommend looking up a couple different directions and maps for this range, before you hike it. Also, the trail-less, parts are pretty worn in, so if you follow what looks like a trail, the mud, and the rock cairns, you will be fine.
