We analyse the HDR picture quality in Assassin's Creed Valhalla on the Xbox Series X, using the excellent HDR analysis toolkit on the Canon DP-V2411 4K reference monitor. • We also examine the impact of the Maximum Luminance and Exposure in-game HDR calibration settings, and explain how to adjust it for your own TV. Reminder: Always engage HGIG if it's available on your TV before adjusting these HDR settings. • Even though the in-game [Brightness] and [Contrast] settings are locked out in HDR mode, you can change them while in SDR mode (just disable 4K or HDR10 on the console) which will carry over to HDR.
