Gravidity and parity maternity nursing NCLEX review for students! • Gravidity (gravida) and parity (para) is a two-digit system used to help assess a woman's OB health history. For exams, be sure you're familiar with the definition of each and their individual terms along with how to calculate the gravida and para. • Gravidity is the number of times a woman has been pregnant.
