With the help of some remarkable people, I was able to gain the education and tools I needed to unlearn my pain and teach my brain that movement is safe once again. Shifting my mindset from pain elimination to improving function regardless of pain was a turning point that allowed me to make leaps and bounds in my recovery. Fast forward to today and I can say with gratitude that I am back doing things that I thought I may never experience again; I work a physically demanding job, I exercise every day, and I have the pleasure of traveling with my wife without the shackles of pain. • I currently work for Fire Rescue Victoria. • Along with fires, we also respond to medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents and motor vehicle accidents. It can be demanding both physically and mentally at times, but it's also a thoroughly satisfying career with great work-life balance. • I am not extraordinary; anyone armed with the knowledge I gained can unlearn their pain too. • You can reach out to Max here.... •   / max.mcqueen.942
