Or that it’s okay to cheat on your spouse every now and then. But so many Christians believe we can just ignore the Sabbath. As if God gave us nine commandments and one suggestion. • • Yes, it is a law – it’s the only spiritual discipline in the Ten Commandments. Bible reading is not in the Ten Commandments, not prayer, fasting, or generosity – but the Sabbath is.
