Video on Lakki Marwat District • Lakki Marwat is a district in Bannu Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. • The district is a combination of hills and sandy plains. The hilly areas are along the boundaries of the district especially in the east, southeast, southwest and northwest. • In the southeast, the Marwat range separates Lakki Marwat from Dera Ismail Khan district while in the east the Karak Niazi range separates it from Mianwali district. It is surrounded by Bettani range on the west and southwest, which separates it from Tank district and the erstwhile tribal area adjoining Tank and South Waziristan districts. • The Marwat range culminates and Bettani ranges starts near the tourist spot Sheikh Badin. A large number of streams flow from the surrounding hills, the Kurram river flows through the district from northwest to the southeast and joins the Indus River south of Isakhel town. One of its important tributaries is Gambila River. • The region has all the characteristics of a desert due to its sand dunes, scorching heat and dry weather. Summers are very hot, while winters are moderately cool. • The scene of vast lush green fields and trees and yellow flowers of mustard crop is the first segment in the video-documentary on Lakki Marwat district. The fields of green wheat crops and the dangling yellow colour of mustard flowers make a stunning sight to watch and enjoy. • Smiling children, green trees planted under Billion Tree Tsunami, the beautiful white flying birds over the stream of clean water, Lakki Marwat old bridge on the river are the worth-seeing scenes in the video-documentary. • The video grapher then captures the vast Lakki Wildlife Park abuzz with beautiful birds and animals. One can enjoy the visit to the park by seeing various kinds of birds and animals, both small and large sizes, being reared in open fenced space and cages. • #DestinationKP #TravelKP #kptourism #khyberpakhtunkhwa #pakistan #travelbeautifulpakistan #forgeteverythingelse #tourism #lakimarwat
