If you want to add much-needed shade to your patio but don’t have the time or desire to install a permanent, labor-intensive corner posts, this DIY is for you! We’ll show you how easy it is to install a temporary patio sun shade using Carbiepoles™ Adjustable Carbon Fiber Poles. Carbiepoles are incredibly lightweight and very strong, perfect for use on your patio or boat to support shade sails and awnings. In this video tutorial, we’ll show you how to install the Carbiepoles, how to pattern and sew the sun shade, and how to install the sun shade and easily tension and adjust the Carbiepoles. • Sailrite recommends the maximum length of a side of a temporary sun shade be no more than 170 inches* when using 38mm Carbiepoles.
