The Jordan IV Fear made its highly anticipated comeback, and I’m beyond excited to finally have a pair in my collection. Originally part of the iconic 2013 Fear Pack, which included the Jordan 3, Jordan 4, and Jordan 5, this sneaker has always been on my radar. Back in 2013, I was only 14 and didn’t have the funds for sneakers, but now, fast forward to 2024, and I’ve finally secured my favorite from the pack – the Jordan IV Fear. • This release couldn’t have come at a better time, as it coincides with the 35th anniversary of the Jordan 4 model. As of November 19th, these Jordan IV Fears are already sold out on Nike, though you can still find a few pairs at select boutiques. But act fast – they’ll be gone soon. It’s clear the Jordan IV is becoming the new it model for sneakerheads, replacing the Air Jordan 1, which seems to be losing some of its appeal. • For me, Jordan IVs and Jordan IIIs have always been go-to models, but I do have my fair share of Air Jordan 1s too. The Jordan IV Fear comes in a black, white, cool gray, platinum mix, which is a classic, timeless combination. The black speckled midsole with white dots adds a unique touch, while the red visible Air unit inside is a standout feature, even though most people won’t see it when you’re wearing them. • The story behind the Jordan IV Fear ties into that infamous Nike commercial where Michael Jordan said, I'm scared of what I won't become, you're scared of what I could become. That powerful message resonates with many of us, as it reflects the fear of our own potential versus the fear others have of our success. • At a retail price of $215, these are a must-have if you want a versatile, classic sneaker that goes with anything. I can easily see myself rocking them every day, whether I’m dressed up or down.
