Referee Carlos Padilla officially stopped the fight at 1:51 of the round. • Foreman, 40, had trouble with Qawi early in the fight, but began finding his range in the sixth round when he staggered Qawi with a left uppercut, and then knocked him into the ropes seconds later with a right hand. • Qawi managed to last the sixth, but Foreman began scoring at will in the seventh round before the final combination caused Qawi to throw in the towel. • The ending was booed by a crowd of about 4,000 at Caesars Palace, which watched a fight that was almost comical at times between the two aging and plodding fighters.
