Let’s learn how to pay Goods and Services Tax • To start off, all taxes have to be paid online on the GST network (GSTN - http://gstn.org/ ). There is no manual filing of returns. Business owners can make their Payments either in the Credit Ledger or the Cash Ledger. • You can pay make a payment three different modes. • a) Through Axis Bank credit and debit cards; • b) Over the Counter payment or OTC through Axis Bank and other authorized banks. • c) And through Axis Internet Banking or via NEFT or RTGS through any other bank. • Do note that for the first month, you have to pay only through the cash ledger. You can start paying through the credit ledger from the subsequent month onwards. • Remember to get your registration done with your Axis Bank Account number only. • Always remember to file your GST returns with Axis Bank.
