Maple Bourbon Ribs on the REC TEC Pellet Grill

Recipe for making some maple bourbon ribs, smoked on the REC TEC pellet grill. • Recipe for the mop: • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar • 3/4 cup bourbon • Mop ribs every 45 min or so until it's time to foil. • Recipe for the maple bourbon BBQ sauce: • 1/4 cup unsalted butter • 1/4 cup vegetable oil • 2 med onions, minced • 3/4 cup bourbon • 2/3 cup ketchup • 1/2 cup cider vinegar • 1/2 cup orange juice • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup • 1/3 cup molasses • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper • 1/2 tsp salt • Sauté the onions in the oil and butter over medium heat then stir in the rest of the wet ingredients.
