http://bdfilms.com.pl https://patronite.pl/BDF • In eleventh day of the second world war eighteen planes from German elite fighter unit LG-2, • has taken off to destroy the covered airfield of the Polish Third Fighter Group. From the main formation have been separated five Messerschmitts as decoy. German pilots had an excellent tactical situation. The Polish Commander immediately has sent to fight seven fighters. Seven against eighteen agressors. He had no idea that the rest of Messerschmitts was cruising nearby. It is strange but result of struggle was a draw. Two germans and two Polish Fighters have been destroyed. During the September Campaign the Polish Third Fighter Group which had 23 combat planes, achieved 36 confirmed kills, losing in direct combat only 5 own fighters.
