How to Fix a Laptop that Won’t Charge – Disassembly amp Repair

I had an issue after the laptop was (unfortunately) shorted because the wrong charger was inserted. This video shows a step-by-step walkthrough of the entire disassembly process for the HP ProBook 450 G1 as well as a fix for this one. It ended being a zener diode and not a fuse that was fried. After carefully researching the specifications of the original part number, a replacement was found on DigiKey for less than $6 shipped.
