What does it actually mean when you tick that box to agree to gift aid your charity donation or entry ticket into a National Trust (for example) property? Make sure that you claim any extra tax relief that you might be due and adjust your total income against the high income child benefit tax charge. Also be aware that you (or somebody you know) should not tick the box if income is too low to be paying any tax. • Welcome to Basic Financials!
