Millefoglie chocolate cake a spectacular dessert ready in a few steps

This cake is just right when you're feeling all the feels. The recipe is so simple and the result is mouth-watering! INGREDIENTS •  4 sheets puff pastry, cut into circles; •  4 cups milk; •  ½ tsp vanilla powder; •  1 lemon, zest; •  8 egg yolks; •  200 g (7 oz) sugar; •  40 g (1.4 oz) cornstarch; •  40 g (1.4 oz) flour; •  150 g (5 oz) dark chocolate, chopped; •  300 g (10 oz) whipped cream; •  1 cup sugar glaze; •  Melted chocolate for décor. •   • METHOD • •  Heat oven to 200C/400F. Poke circles of puff pastry with fork, place on a baking pan along with a puff pastry scraps and bake for 20 minutes, then leave to cool down. •  Heat milk with vanilla and lemon zest. Remove zest slices. •  Whisk egg yolks with sugar, flour and cornstarch. Pour hot milk over in little batches while whisking constantly. •  Pour the mixture back into the pot and heat until thickens. Combine with chopped dark chocolate and leave to cool down covered with plastic wrap. •  When the cream is cold fold whipped cream into it. •  Cover each layer of baked puff pastry with pastry cream.
