With a Mexican dad (who helped jump-start their songwriting) and a mom raised in Wisconsin, their musical perspectives were developed through double lenses. A touch of SoCal pop, some interest in trad Mexican folk music, and a cosmopolitan POV that filters everything from reggaeton to bachata helps shape their stylistic mix. Fans around the world fell for “3 A.M.,” their collab with Cuban heroes, Gente de Zona. We chose to have the duo impress us in a simple setting: just guitar and voices.
