My camelot macaw, Comet, somehow ended up with a broken blood feather that was bleeding a lot... he never gave any obvious signs of discomfort so I had to actually spot the blood on his play-stand to realize something was wrong at all! • If you find yourself in this situation and don't know what to do, don't feel confident doing it or don't have the tools to do it properly, please take your bird to an avian vet immediately.
