Learn how to make the best gluten-free focaccia bread! In this video you’ll learn how to make gluten-free bread! We’re making a super easy no-knead gluten-free focaccia recipe! The recipe is super simple and uses basic ingredients! This bread can be sliced and enjoyed on its own, used in sandwiches and you can also freeze it. This focaccia tastes just as good as the ones I have eaten in Italy. It is crispy on the outside and soft fluffy on the inside😋 I added rosemary for some flavour but you could use pretty much any of your favorite herbs! • It’s hard to find gluten-free focaccia in grocery stores or cafes and if you happen to find one it’s usually very expensive and often quite dry! This focaccia is every coeliac’s and gluten intolerant’s dream! It’s so delicious and not dry at all and very easy to make😍 • In this recipe I my homemade all purpose gluten-free flour mix, which is a mix of rice flour, corn flour, potato flour and psyllium husk powder☺️ Recipe in this video: • How to Make the Best Homemade Gluten-... • If you are using a ready flour mix and it doesn’t contain psyllium husk, I recommend adding 1 tablespoon of it after mixing the yeast with the water and then letting the mixture sit for 10 minutes until “gel-like” consistency. • The pan I used was: 18 x 25 cm / 7 x 10 inch • • The Best Gluten-free Focaccia Bread • Ingredients: • 1 1/2 cups water (360 ml) • 1 tablespoon psyllium husk powder (if your flours don’t already contain it) • 11 g dry yeast, about 4 teaspoons • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey • 1 teaspoon salt • 1/4 cup olive oil (60 ml) • 2 cups all purpose gluten-free flour mix (480 ml) • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary • Toppings: • 2 tablespoons olive oil • Sea salt flakes, to taste • 1. Heat the water in the microwave till 42 degrees (or according to the yeast package) Mix the yeast with the water. (Add the psyllium and let sit for ten minutes, skip this step if your flours contain psyllium) • 2. Add maple syrup, salt, olive oil and stir • 3.Add the flour and rosemary and mix until combined • 3. Pour into a baking dish lined with parchment paper • 4. Let rise uncovered for about 30 minutes • 6. Drizzle the bread with olive oil • 7. Poke holes into the dough with your fingers or use a butt of a knife • 8.Sprinkle the salt on top • 9.Bake at 225 Celsius degrees (440 in Fahrenheit) for 30 - 40 minutes, until golden brown • 10.Store in an air-tight container.
