The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has announced the disbursement of an additional N22 billion for accrued pension rights, covering the period from July to September 2024. The funds, deposited into the Retirement Benefits Bond Redemption Fund (RBBRF) at the Central Bank of Nigeria, address outstanding pensions for Federal Government retirees under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS). • This latest release brings the total disbursed under the 2024 Appropriation to N66 billion and ensures payments to retirees verified between October 2023 and January 2024, as well as deceased employees.
