The infraspinatus is an important muscle in scapula positioning as it decelerates internal rotation and shoulder flexion. Like all the rotator cuff (SITS) muscles, the infraspinatus relies on an efficient core (lumbopelvic - hip complex) to translate the forces needed from the lower limbs to the upper limbs. • Deep shoulder joint pain is felt when trigger points are active. The pain will typically present in the biceps brachii and down the side of the shoulder, and radiating as far as the thumb. • Severe pain is often felt in the anterior deltoid and bicipital groove. It's also not unusual for pain to radiate to the posterior neck. • For more information about NAT online courses, please visit https://nielasher.com/collections/nat...
