iCON Home Studio line of studio monitors consists of five speaker models with different speaker sizes and an 8-inch subwoofer. In this review, we'll look at two pairs of speakers: iCON SX 5A with 5.5-inch driver and iCON SX 6A with 6.5-inch driver. Both pairs of monitors are made of MDF and transmit frequencies in the range from 40 (iCON SX 5A) and 45 (iCON SX 6A) Hz to 20 kHz at plus or minus three decibels. The crossover operates at 2.7 and 2.6 Hz, respectively. The total power of the smaller speakers is 90 W, and the larger ones are 120 W. Both models have balanced and unbalanced outputs, as well as a bass reflex port located on the rear side of the case.
